Development of the S-series is based on a solid foundation: Black Bruin’s experience of radial piston cam ring technology and its application spans over 60 years.
The S-series features several output shafts with performance customized to a wide range of applications. The power of S-series has already been translated into greater auger diameter and faster operation in drilling applications and maximal performance and uptime in mining and recycling applications. With Black Bruin S-series motors you get the job done.
The S-series direct drive motor has a robust piston design and transmits hydraulic energy efficiently without gears. Built with strong steel, the S-series motors are meant for heavy-duty action. The wide sliding surface between cylinder block wall and piston is the secret to the S-series motor’s durability and long life. The S-series also features a design for lower viscosity oils, a slide bearing enabling use of min. 15 cSt viscosity.
All torque transmitting components of S-series motors are durable and at the same time easy to service: The shaft and cylinder block are two separate parts, which can be serviced independently. The nitrated guide rings and piston inserts are other specially designed service components. If something unexpected happens, you don’t need to buy a new motor but simply change an individual part. The S-series motors are designed for maximal uptime and low TCO.
