Black Bruin, together with Kuhn Huard SA, Massey Ferguson, and Michelin, is collaborating on a research project coordinated by the Agricultural Machinery and New Technologies Chair at the Polytechnical Institute UniLaSalle in France.
The project aims to evaluate the performance of a plow equipped with a hydraulic wheel drive system in field cultivation, specifically focusing on potential fuel savings, reduced soil compaction, and other benefits of using a single-wheel auxiliary drive in an 8-body tractor-pulled plow.
Early results are promising: the hydraulic wheel drive reduces slippage, allowing plowing to be completed faster and more efficiently. The outcome? Increased productivity and reduced fuel consumption per hectare, enhancing both cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
As the research project continues, we look forward to share more exciting findings!
In recognition of your hard and innovative work, and loyalty for over 40 years: Black Bruin’s Golden Distributor Award presented to NAHI’s Kent Strand.
Most of us agree that technology is here to stay, no going back to the time without it. To save and restore the environment, more efficient and reliable technology is essential. As a 60-year-old innovation, Black Bruin hydraulic motors have indeed endured and are proud to be sustainable in the truest sense of the word.
A true love affair: The Team Leader of Black Bruin’s sales back office team, Jaana Tabally, and Black Bruin have been together already for 25 years. What is the secret of such a long and lasting relationship?
